Durja Boutique: orders on Fashion OS, accounts on Zoho Books

  • Fashion OS
  • Zoho Books
  • Built by Biz Systems

Durja Boutique runs its orders on Fashion OS, with Zoho Books implemented for accounts. The two are connected, so the boutique's order work and its books stay in step.

Orders and accounts, joinedFashion OS runs the boutique. Zoho Books keeps the books. A figure is entered once and appears in both.

What was set up

  • Fashion OS for the boutique: customers, orders, measurements, trial and delivery dates in one place
  • Zoho Books for accounts: GST invoicing and accounting implemented by Biz Systems
  • The link between them: bills raised for an order flow through to the accounts

How an order moves

  1. Inquiry
  2. Order
  3. Measurements
  4. Karigar
  5. Dyeing
  6. Trial
  7. Alterations
  8. Packing
  9. Delivery

Each order is booked once in Fashion OS and moves through its stages there. When the bill is raised, the sale and the payment are recorded in Zoho Books, so the accounts do not have to be rebuilt from a diary at month end.

Why the two together

A boutique needs two things from its software: to know where every order stands, and to know where the money stands. Fashion OS answers the first and Zoho Books the second. Running them connected means a figure is entered once and appears in both.
